English Exam

wow, that english test was quite hard.. (medium level). especially the vocabulary mcq questions. they really made me practically tear all my hair out. i struggled abit at the ending of the comprehension but, kind of managed to pull through.

composition, hmm... average. maybe, between easy and average? i wrote question 2 that was the picture. the pictures shows a girl, Sue, in a general office crying her eyes out while, a teacher looks furious beside her and a principal is calling her parents. i wrote about a girl who stole a tag heuer watch (my watch brand (: i think and think and think don't know have what branded watch brand. suddenly i look at the clock then an idea struck my mind. my watch! xDD my watch practically saved my life.) and was caught red handed by the kaypo kia, Joshua, the class moniter. he told the teacher ms lim who passed by the class about what he saw and blah blah blah.. you get the point. Sue gets into serious serious trouble. the end (:

situational writing was a huge shock. well, maybe not really such a huge shock. i was just a little startled as it wasn't the normal type of situational writing we normally practice on. its on a picture with speech bubbles all over. not bad... just did the best i could. hope it turns out well. yet again, HENG AH 0%!!!

wooohoooo got to go catch my 8.10pm hongkong drama now. byes..! :D

floats!

haha today i was in master bedroom when suddenly, i heard a ear-piercing scream. "liisaaa!!!" it was my mother's. it scared the hell out of me. i thought i had subconsiously did something wrong and was in deep deep trouble. i made my way unwillingly out of the room and waited for hell to be unleashed. however to my surprise, my mother had a humongous change in tone and said, "快点come look!" i stared at her in bewilderment and realised what all that was about. the beautiful bright colourful floats were passing by. believe it or not, that was my very 1st time witnessing the scene of floats driving around the estate. and i have no idea why. they were each from different companies. sure creative aren't they? i liked the train and the 财神爷 floats the most :) i let out a HUGE sigh of relief. After the 'display', i went back to my work. what a close call.

omg i'm SO dead. haven't revised my composition and situational writing yet. sigh...i guess i'll just let nature take its course. leave it all to heaven's will xDD last minute work... how pathetic can i get?? so lucky its not counted in my PSLE marks. if it was, i wouldn't be here blogging now and instead, I would be lying unconscious in a puddle of tears. sleep or work? work or sleep? which one? argh forget it.. SLEEP! ((:

Composition + Situational Writing on monday!

do not shout. do not faint. do not smash your head against the table as, i suppose that it is confirmed that we are facing the horrible, terrifying fact -- compostition and situational writing examination falls on monday, 26th feb 2007. as i have been notified by janice and pengker, mrs bambang had emailed several classmates about the dreadful news. okay i give up on the good english. let me continue with my story. i heng man. kiasu so bring all the files home. now i have the composition file with me :) i can study! wish me and all you guys good luck in the examinations!

after knowing about the news, i decided to relax, not to make myself stress and all tensed up. so i turned on the television and saw "Chingay" currently showing live. it was fascinating with all the floats on Orchard road. the fireworks almost blinded my eyes o.O i watched it till 9.30pm and later, sat here to post -.-

wow i have just received the news of my cousin giving birth to a chubby rosy little baby boy! yet, i have no clue what his name is. :P sure hope to pinch the little cheeks of him soon. oh yah, before i forget, congratulations to my cousin! ;)

i got to go continue revising now. byes..!

haha finally my blog's layout is personally, officially, pain-stakingly, delicately, lovingly done by ME. used about an hour+ ? the process was fun. i think i'll continue with my posts after the coming CA1 exam that is... 2 days away. good luck with the exam peeps!
